Get a better mySpace for your iPhone

This one is for you who are so addicted to mySpace, but hate it when you wish to access your account from iPhone. The currently available access that's official is through mySpace mobile-optimised web version, which is a stripped down from its normal desktop/laptop web access. And usually the features are mostly cut out too, not to mention mySpace just cramp the normal user interface to mobile small screens.
Lucky for you iPhone owners, because
Jake Marsh has been working on his small project to bring the true mySpace experience into iPhone. He's copying the Facebook's application user interface that's specially designed for iPhone, and add those missing features like:

  • taking musics

  • the centerpiece of mySpace

  • lets you run the tracks right from the iPhone (previously can't be done because iPhone doesn't have Flash support)

  • easier way to subscribe to people's newsfeeds

  • photo viewer

  • browse the whole photos album

The application is still in the process, but Marsh has told Josh Lowensohn (

Webware) that it'll be ready in late August this year; just cross your fingers for this one.
