13 iPhone apps worth jailbreaking for

You know it, I know it, we all know it; Apple's App Store is "imminent" (it's not only Steve Ballmer who can say that ;-p) and all of those 3rd party apps will no longer a taboo for the proud iPhone & iPod Touch owners.

So it would be a good time, and your last chance to jailbroken your iPhone / iPod Touch before you can't do it anymore. ~LOL~ Everybody have their own favorite apps, like what I've posted before
here at PA too, this time it came from LifeHacker.

Adam Pash at LifeHacker has pulled-off 13 apps that according to him are worth to be jailbreaking for, but don't get yourself
banned from Apple stores like those teens I told you before. Here are they:
  • WebSearch, Probably the most time-saving iPhone application available, WebSearch creates quick search shortcuts for any web site on the internet.
  • iFlix, manages your entire Netflix queue from the comfort of your iPhone, from adding, re-ordering, and browsing Netflix.
  • iSlsk is a Soulseek peer-to-peer client that can download MP3s from the Soulseek network and import the music directly into the iPod application.
  • MobileScrobbler integrates your iPod's music library with music recommendation service Last.fm so that each time you play a song on your device, it's automatically sent to Last.fm over your Wi-Fi or EDGE connection. And that's not all.
  • NemusSync synchronizes your iPhone's calendar application with your Google Calendar account.
  • OrbLive streams virtually any digital content—including live TV—from your home computer to your iPhone or iPod touch.
  • SIP-VoIP, whether you don't want to eat up your iPhone's anytime minutes or you've got an iPod touch, this application lets you make calls over your device's Wi-Fi connection.
  • Sketches is like an Etch-a-Sketch for your iPhone but way, way better.
  • StreetFlow takes advantage of your iPhone's faux-GPS feature to find good restaurants near to your current location.
  • Touchpad Pro turns your iPhone into a multi-touch mouse, similar to a laptop's trackpad.
  • TuneWiki turns your iPhone into the ultimate mobile karaoke machine—or, if you don't like karaoke, the ultimate lyrics-fetching tool.
  • VideoRecorder, despite all it can do, the iPhone gets criticized for missing functionality that almost all other cell phones have. No where is this more glaring than in its absence of a good video recorder.
  • VNsea is a VNC client that allows you to remotely control your computer from the comfort of your iPhone's touchscreen. That may sound like a pain, but trust me, it's surprisingly great.

Click on each of the apps name to get more detail infos, complete with screenshots. Good luck, and happy jailbreaking! ;-D
