iPhone 3G madness

You’re biting on your finger nails and grinding your teeth, all are caused by the building excitement (or nervousness) on waiting for the upcoming iPhone 3G. The room is getting smaller and the July 11th day on your calendar has becoming smaller everyday, even though you’ve marked it with big-giant red circle.

But don’t worry, it’s normal anyway. Yup, for an iPhone-freak nerd; you are. ~LOL~ And by that, you do realize that you’ve fallen into Steve Jobs’ little mind game? Oh, what else is there reason Steve didn’t provide us with available stock of iPhone 3G when he announced it at WWDC ’08? Like what he did on MacBook Air, it was right away available for Apple fans to purchase after its announcement.

But what I don’t get is this one: why does Steve hold back iPhone 3G sales that are already piling up in his Apple stores’ storage room? Remember those mysterious containers and packages I’ve reported back then,
here at Palm Addict?

Oh, okay. I admit it, I was giving you a hint to remind you that there’s a possibility of the iPhone 3G stocks are waiting and sitting pretty for you in every Apple stores as I speak. I kinda hoping, that someone if not you; will break-in (Ethan Hunt – Mission Impossible style) through the Apple’s 5th Avenue glass store and grab two. One for you of course, and one for me. Eh, you want one too? Hmmm…, how about if I’ll give it to Sammy as a throwaway prize? Sounds good for everyone? ;-p ~LOL~

But if you rather wait till it’s officially released, and love to join the herds to sweat together in the pool of large smelly crowd and wondering if there’s enough of iPhone 3G left for yourself; then I have a good news for you. Valleywag was reporting that Chinese electronics manufacturer Foxconn will manufacture and ship the first batch of new, faster 3G-network enabled iPhones by June, according to reports from Taipei, Taiwan. 3 million should ship that month, and an estimated 25 million over the life of the product. Foxconn is the sole manufacturer of the current generation of iPhones.

Since July 11th is still a way to go, and to avoid you loose all of your finger nails until then; you might want to consider using this
iPhone 3G survival guide. It is everything from proper 3G iPhone etiquette to protecting your phone from bullies and thieves to surviving withdrawal is covered—with amusing illustrations and broken English to boot (via Gizmodo).

Or, if bad luck strikes you and you’re too late to buy the iPhone 3G. You can chew your agony with this ‘iPoor', which Walt Moseberg called himself as the “true iPhone killer”. ;-D

Alright, alright; it’s only another bad tease from me. But hey, I really miss the time when I can have all the fun from giving you guys with iPhone 2.0 sneak previews back then. And I think, you can use some bit of laugh before facing on busy Monday tomorrow.
