Why did I mentioned Symbian, instead of Nokia at the beginning line there? Because what Nokia has been waiting for all these times before introduce a touch screen product, was to wait until Symbian platform is prep & ready to power up a full touch screen powered device for Nokia. The wait is now over, when Nokia finally announced officially Nokia 5800 XpressMusic yesterday at London & Singapore.
Here's the quick rundown on the specs inside this baby with latest installment of Symbian platform that has reached the 5th generation:
- 3.2" touch screen with 640x360 pixels resolution
- 3.2MP camera Autofocus Shooter for VGA video at 30fps
- Quad-band GSM up to HSDPA
- WiFi
- GPS
- 3.5mm audio jack
- TV out
- microSD slot (comes with 8GB microSD card)
- Comes With Music service
Will soon available at this quarter 2008 in black, blue and red colors. There will be three versions: with North American HSDPA, with European HSDPA and GSM only; and the price will be around 279 EURO (US$390).
