AT&T is the first to launch Surface

It's strange indeed to hear that AT&T is the one that will launch the first ever Microsoft's Surface product into retail market on April 17th, just like what Engadget Mobile have reported here. Apparently AT&T is planning to use Surface to promote their mobile phones line-up, where AT&T's customers can place their mobile phone on Surface and then they'll get the mobile phone specifications. Not just that, AT&T also plans to put a drag & drop capability for ringtones, graphics and video into their Surface. The lucky AT&T stores to hold on to this all new Surface are New York, Atlanta, San Antonio, and San Francisco. And update news indicated that AT&T's mobile phone flagship: the iPhone is not among of those phones demonstrated on the Surface, strange don't you think?
