Yup, that’s what the third richest man in the world right now has said during his visit at Istana Jakarta, Indonesia. I’m going to take you away for awhile from mobile phones world, to deliver a special report on Bill Gates two days visit on my home country; Indonesia. Sorry I've tricked you up there ;-p
Accepted by the Indonesia President himself, on last Thursday (May 8th); this is the second time they meet face to face again since back in 2007. The President amazed that Bill doesn’t look older, and he praises on Bill’s modest personality. And personally I have to agree, by looking at the pictures you can see that from many Microsoft executives who sat with the President; only Bill who was willing to lean forward. That shows his humbleness, even though he was once the richest man in the world.
After that, Bill gave a lecture in front of around 2,500 people; these include more than 1,200 college students, press, business men & woman, etc. Surprisingly they’ve made Bill to wear ‘batik’ dress, it’s a traditional dress of ours. Even I don’t like to wear one, it’s too stiff and smelly; maybe Bill is really a nice person after all. The theme of his lecture was: “Surfing the Citizen: The Transformative Power of Information Technology in Delivering Government Services”, sounds cool huh? Although I can see the President look bored to death ;-D
A funny punch-line came out from Bill, when one of those many college students asked him what his secret to be successful is. As usual Bill told everyone there that he love to study, and they should pursue their dreams, bla-bla, etc. He said something like this: “Yes, I didn’t graduate from college, but you should.” Yeah, right. If you become successful and rich, you’ll be able to justify the wrong doings you’ve done in the past. ;-p
