Japanese teens like to bath with their mobile phones
I understand if someone love their pet so much, they would take it everywhere even to the bedroom or bathroom. But to take their mobile phone even when they’re swimming in the bathtub? Well, don’t you laugh yet and to think no such people exist. Because according to Sega; their research shows that there is up to 41.2% of the Japanese surveyed have at least once in their lives taken their cell phones into the bath to make phone calls, send text messages, listen to music or play cell phone games.
The survey included around 16,250 Japanese people from different age and sex. But Sega said it’s likely the teenagers who would do that, because they love to send emails and listen to music while taking a bath. It sounds like another propaganda of Japanese mobile phone brands, which they often boasted on how cutting-edge their handsets are and water resistant. So like Kotaku has said about this news: “Now, we shall spend the rest of the day wondering what exactly Sega is up to.”, we too are wondered why a game console manufacturer did that survey?
While I was hoping that it would be more even exciting news, if it was Apple who conducted such survey. Then perhaps we can expect for a water-proof 3G iPhone, …errr I actually mean “drool-proof”; cuz you’ll have to be prepared when your friends and co-workers drool over your new shiny iPhone 2.0 right? ;-D
