Google doesn't know how to make money out of YouTube

I can't actually believe to hear Google CEO Eric Schmidt was saying, that the acquisition of YouTube that worth $1.65 billion can't produce any income for the big spender like Google. But hey, if the lines are coming from Google CEo himself; we got to trust that right?

Here's the exact lines as quoted from Greg Sandoval's (
CNet News) blog: "We're working but have not yet in my view gotten a breakthrough around monetization. We're working on that. That's our highest priority this year."

I think it's time for Google to open more YouTube for mobile phone users, not just through with their limited mobile YouTube website version. But a real easy to watch YouTube videos in RSS feeds or mobile web sites...
