Tweet directly from Treo's Today Screen
If you're a Twitter-addict and an avid Twiiter user, you know how annoying it is to update your Twitter account from mobile phones. Usually you must open the Twitter mobile website to do so, but Dale Lane, who's calling himself as an 'IBM code monkey"; has created a light C++ application for Pocket PC (Windows Mobile for touch screen).
Here is Dale's reason on why he made the app: "When posting a tweet, the key is speed. I don’t want to wait to launch an app, I don’t want lots of features. I just want something to take my message and post it."
The app called TwitToday, and will be placed at Windows Mobile's Today Screen. Where from there you can type in and post directly to your Twitter account, and if you click the the TwitToday logo it'll take you to Twitter mobile website.
Just go to Dale Lane's website, or download the TwitToday from this link. Source is via MyToday Screen, thanks to Tariq Bamadhaj for the head up.
