Google Translate understands 10 more languages
Okay picture this; you’re in China this fall to attend the opening ceremony of the Olympics, and you only bring your smartphone along with a backpack full of your underwears. You’re excited, but also confuse on how to get yourself from the airport to the stadium. Here’s a new hint: fire up your mobile web browser and use Google Translate!
Because those smart Googlers at Google Research, have recently added translation capabilities for 10 new languages into Google Translate, bringing up to 23 languages in total. These new languages are Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Hindi, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian and Swedish.
Another new feature called “Detect Language” will help you to automatically identify the language of the text you’re trying to translate, and they said that the longer text; the more accurate it will be.
Just click on this link to know more of the official announcement, and if you find a translation that’s not quite right yet then don’t be shy to let those Googlers know by using this “Suggest a better translation” link.
