GTD mania
It’s Monday! It’s the day where we usually drag our lazy legs to office, and start to work again. From the moment you open up your eyes, and sit on your bed, you know this will be a busy day for the rest of the weekend. After counting things to do while slurping your favorite coffee flavor, you almost scream out of your lungs imagining how you’ll ever gonna make it till the end of the week; you even have lost count of the first tasks after you memorize them all up to #26 tasks. You need help!
So this is where ‘Getting Things Done’ (GTD, in short) method can help you to sort out above kind of problems, GTD was first pioneered by David Allen with his GTD bible. Some of you, our dear Palm Addict (PA) readers might have known and even implemented GTD, and my fellow Associate Writer: Michael Brown has also discussed about it in his post here at PA. And if you wish to have a flash knowledge on GTD, you may want to stop by at Chris Gurney blog for the summarized GTD organization techniques.
You should also check out this Firefox web browser extension that brings GTD functionalities into your Gmail, it’s called GTDInbox. Gina Trapani (PC World) has tried it and explained how GTDInbox works: “With GTDInbox installed, star any message to turn it into a ‘next action’; list and add tasks right inside Gmail; and review tasks by how long they've been around (less than a week, longer than a week, longer than a month, longer than three months) to see how much of a slacker you've been (or not)”.
But if you prefer to take the GTD list with you on the road, there’s a good & free web service that offers it called Ta-da Lists. It was posted by Sammy here at PA, from palmgirl Austin, TX.
Good luck on organizing your works, and happy ‘GTD’-ing!

Hey Andy, thanks for the mention!
I used to be an avid Palm user, but have been leashed to a BlackBerry for the past several years. If I had the choice, I'd be a Treo user... that is, until the iPhone makes an appearance in Canada. :-)
Hi Chris,
Actually, it's me who should thank you to you for letting me use your blog post as a reference ;-) It's a very fine summarized of GTD methods, the best from others that I've looked up in Google so far.
Then come back Chris, come back to Palm & join our Palm Addicts community as well... ;-D
For implementing GTD you might try out this web-based application:
http://www.gtdagenda.com
You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use
checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version is available too.
As with the last update, now Gtdagenda has full Someday/Maybe functionality, you can easily move your tasks and projects between "Active", "Someday/Maybe" and "Archive". This will clear your mind, and will boost your productivity.
Hope you like it.
Wow, thank you for the tip Dan.
And the Gtdagenda.com looks great and useful, I'll take a look at it when I got the chance. Since I've been quite busy these days... ;-)
I'm currently still compiling other resources, especially GTD mobile web service or for mobile apps. I'll definetely going to mention Gtdagenda.com next time I do a blog about GTD again.
