"Windows Mobile More Important Than Google’s Android", says HTC

I didn't say that, really. It was HTC who said it: "…the Diamond phone powered by Windows Mobile, that will be announced on May 6, is the most important product for HTC this year, more important than Google Android -powered phones that HTC will release later this year." Sources are from msmobiles.com, via MyTodayScreen.

And Engadget Mobile has revealed the favorable WinMob's handset that HTC more prefer than Android's, it has an official name now called: HTC Touch Diamond. Here are some leaked specs available for now:
  • 2.8-inch VGA display
  • WinMo 6.1 Pro
  • WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0
  • eGPS, FM tuner
  • Quad-band HSDPA 7.2
  • 4GB internal flash, microSD slot
  • 528MHz CPU
  • 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus
  • 10.7mm (0.47-inches) thick
  • Supposedly also features an orientation sensor / accelerometer

Do you think it's worth it for HTC?
