HTC P3702 "Touch Diamond" ~ with no diamonds on back ~ hands-on

I can't believe this, is the Christmas already here? Do I put on the wrong year of the calendar on the wall? Or is this some kind of a hands-on festive going on the world of mobile?

Everybody is getting the latest and newest gadgets around, and I mean the shiniest mobile phones that most of us are envy about. Plus, those lucky bloggers are receiving these gizmos along with the retail box. That would feels like you've just came home from shopping a new mobile phone, the excitement, oohh... unbeareable...! ;-D

Ohkay, you must be wondering right now. What is that title up there mean, HTC Touch Diamond without the diamonds on the back??

What you're seeing on the picture there is actually HTC's P3702, aka. HTC Victor, the Touch Diamond's (P3700) own sibling. According to Kim Poh Liaw (
SlashPhone) who unboxed it; The HTC Victor has the same feature as the new HTC Touch Diamond, it comes with a slightly different phone design. It is more rounded shape at the corner compare to HTC Touch Diamond.

It's available since last Friday, HTC P3702 Victor (Touch Diamond sibings) is available in Taiwan with a rom version 1.39.922.2 CHT. And most of the retail shops in Taiwan has also bundled in the HTC Pouch PO S390, which will protect your phone from scratches and support to clear your thumb print after you take it out. And there's an interesting fact found by GSMArena about this; that a non-3G version of the HTC Touch Diamond appeared earlier on the Indian market. Having a lower price tag than the original Diamond it is targeted at markets where 3G networks aren't available.
