Use fake Obama SMS to fool everybody
I know it's too late now for the joke, since Sen. Barack Obama has chosen Sen. Joseph Biden as his vice presidential nominee. But hey, some of your friends or family & relatives might not hear the news yet, so here's your chance to pull their legs. ;-)
Wonkette weblog got a prank tip for sending legitimate-looking TXT announcements from Sen. Barack Obama himself, using Verizon's website.
Just make the From and Reply to number 62262. (You have to put your real number in the Call Back field, but it doesn’t show up in the text.) … and send a message (to your verizon wireless friends) thanking them for their support and letting them know you have chosen Hillaryt Clinton as your running mate! Don’t forget to hit the Urgent checkbox!
I was just thinking about this kinda line: "As a thanks for all your support we wanted you to be the first to know that Barack has chosen Sammual James McLoughlin as VP". That doesn't sound bad at all ain't it? ;-D
