Yes, it's for real now. In an unexpected turn of event, Apple has finally listens to the growing feedbacks -which mostly are negative ones- on its iPhone NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). Apple has announced at its iPhone Developer Program site:"However, the NDA has created too much of a burden on developers, authors and others interested in helping further the iPhone’s success, so we are dropping it for released software. Developers will receive a new agreement without an NDA covering released software within a week or so. ..."

The news is bleeding everywhere on the net, and the iPhone software developers are surely embracing the news with much rejoice now that they'll relieved from one of Apple's chains. There are of course other chains, like for an example Apple has yet to disclose on how it decides on which apps are elligible to enter App Store or not. But nevertheless, this is a nice progress both for the software devs & for iPhone users as well.
