DriverAssist, a software to prevent calls while you're driving

With warning of the increasing car accidents caused by drivers who are making/receiving calls while driving, hasn't able to stop mobile users doing that bad habbit. Even with city laws and expensive fines, have not exactly put off the dangerous way to use your mobile phone while behind the steering-wheel.

But the solution is on the horizon; Aegis Mobility has created a new software that blocks any attempt of making/receiving calls & text messaging while the mobile users are driving. The software is called DriveAssist. --clicking on the link will open the demo web page--

How does the software work? DriveAssist detects when mobile phones are moving at automobile speeds and then tells callers that the person they are trying to reach is driving. Callers are invited to leave messages or call-back numbers, but the caller can bypass the service and be connected to drivers by indicating calls are emergencies.

DriveAssist will also make use GPS, a common feature that can be found in modern mobile phones nowadays, which helpful for callers (like parents and employers) to locate the person they're trying to reach. Aegis Mobility is still negotiating with mobile wireless carriers, to make the service available on a monthly subscription fee basis.

Now if just it also comes with feature to prevent drivers from eating burritos for breakfast, with a cup of coffee in one hand and the other one is holding a newspaper; all while driving a car. Then our mobile life would be complete... ~LOL~
