Cool and unexpensive wireless routers

Ah, wireless... Doesn't it amaze you, that there are data everywhere on the air and we can't see it. No more cable installation hassle, or trip over a wire LAN cable on the floor anymore. Which those usually can cause someone to go haywire, I know; I've been there myself. ;-p

Now, if you're not using wireless technology yet means you're not mobile. And if you're not mobile, you're bound to stuck on your desk all the time. We don't want that don't we? Besides, it's best to use that WiFi feature in your mobile phone or in your laptop for good, no?

Just like any other technologies, wireless routers are expensive when they're first launched. But now, even with the latest wireless type: 802.11n; a N-wireless router can be purchased under $100. Another plus is, newest models are designed better and look very cool when placed on a desk. And like your shiny mobile phones, these two N-wireless routers have glossy finish so you'll know who has been touching it by the fingerprints left behind. No antennas are visible, since these wireless routers are using built-in antennas tech inside their body.
  • Linksys RangePlus Wireless-N Router (WRT160N), it already sports the draft-n wireless type. Although it lacks Gigabit Ethernet ports, and the dual band for future compability. But this one look like an alien device, and your friends will be touching it like crazy. ~LOL~ To know more on its specs and review, head on to PC Mag page.
  • Netgear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Router (WNDR3300), has almost the same specs like Linksys WRT160N above; but this one already sports dual band (2.4GHz & 5GHz). And a big button on top, that glows cool blue light. Head on to Crave review page, to find out more.

Both of above wireless routers are not so glorious when it comes to performance, but will do for home & small business usage. And the main attraction, is of course the low price tag under $100. Happy wireless networking, and stay safe!
